DILLS - Drop In Life Long Learning Series

March 28, 10:00am-12:00pm - An Activity of Oral History Sharing

Bring an old prop from your past and start reminiscing what it means to you. The March DILLS in-service offered by MHFS will offer an opportunity for the participants to bring a prop, your grand father’s tobacco pipe, a photo, a name of a song (we have internet), an unusual kitchen utensil from the past or any item that you can get through the door and have fun reminiscing with the group. Reminiscing therapy has been around since 1980’s. It’s different from remembering and doesn’t put someone on the spot. When a picture is used or a prop, participants can share their feel good/ pleasant memories with others. So, bring your “Brain Album”, let’s have fun reminiscing what sparked you!
