Inspiration Pulmonary Health

Pulmonary Function Testing for asthma, COPD and other related pathologies.

When using our referral forms you can request a consultation with Dr. Dang or choose from the tests we provide which include methacholine challenge testing (to assess airway hyper-responsiveness), arterial blood gas testing, and respiratory muscle strength (used to assess patients with/for neuromuscular disease such as Lou-Gehrigs/ALS).

All testing also offers complimentary respiratory education, puffer/device teaching and a spacer used for MDI (metered-dose Inhalers) medications.

Insulin Pump Therapy

The Insulin Pump Therapy Program (IPTP) is designed to support Alberta residents living with type 1 or type 3c diabetes.

Albertans who meet the eligibility and clinical criteria will be able to receive coverage for the cost of an insulin pump and its supplies as well as other diabetes management supplies.

Steps to take if interested in an insulin pump (For Medicine Hat & Lethbridge):

Step 1: Complete the on-line "Insulin Pump Therapy Learning Module" available at: https://myhealth.alberta.ca/Learning/insulin-pump-therapy

Step 2: Once pre-pump information session is completed and you are interested in proceeding with insulin pump therapy phone to book an insulin pump consultation.

Step 3: Within the learning module is an "Introduction to Pump Therapy Questionnaire" bring completed questionnaire to your clinic appointment.

Journey Through Grief Group - Belinda Deis

​An eight week course dealing with grief and loss.

Fall and spring sessions will take place on Tuesday evenings from 7-9pm at Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel in the Creekside Centre at #1 Dunmore Rd SE. Group size is 4-10 participants.

Program fee is $60 per person or $100 per couple.

Full Level 1 testing facility providing sleep screening, initial consults, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients with Sleep Disordered Breathing (Sleep Apnea).

Christian Based Counseling

Group Seminars available through Misspelled WordLifetalk

“Anger and Its Many Faces” - a five week seminar offering a thorough and practical look at anger and its generators. Learn how to deal with frustration, hurt and fear before they are expressed as anger. Cost $20/person (subsidy available). Facilitated by Roxanne Hansen. Next session will run on Tuesday evenings, January 14 to February 11, 2020. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion, plus one (optional) “post-seminar” counselling session. It will be held in room 209 of the Brooks Community Cultural Centre where the Misspelled WordLifetalk office is located (327 3rd St W, Brooks). Those who are interested can call 403-362-2210 to register and for further information. 


"Understanding Grief and Loss" Explore the grief process to facilitate understanding of,  and healing for those who are struggling with loss, change or separation from loved ones. $20/person, $40/couple.
