AgeCare Sunrise Gardens - Brooks

AgeCare Sunrise Gardens is a Supportive Living community that provides seniors with a home where they can enjoy privacy and independence with the comfort of knowing health and personal supports are on site, 24 hours a day, when you need them.

We also offer Supportive Living Dementia care and programming designed for seniors with varying levels of dementia and memory difficulties (including Alzheimer’s) in a safe, secure, home-like setting.

AgeCare Sunrise Gardens Adult Day Program - $10/day, partially covered by AHS.

Program Offers:
  • Holistic approach to encompass the needs of the client, family, and caregivers
  • Recreation and socialization programs such as trivia, word games, reminiscing, crafts, movies, music, baking, current events discussions, board and card games
  • Educational programs for you and your family

  • Nutritious lunch and snacks prepared by professional food services staff under the guidance of a registered dietitian

Good Samaritan Society - Medicine Hat

The Good Samaritan Society at South Ridge Village offers seniors multiple levels of support and the opportunity to age in place with 70 private continuing care suites and three 10-bed dementia care cottages. 

Admissions are coordinated by the Alberta Health Services Placement Coordinator in Medicine Hat, 403-528-8000

The Supportive Living program consists of 42 suites and provides accommodation and personal care services to residents in private suites.

Good Samaritan Society Adult Day Program

The Good Samaritan Society offers an Adult Day Program in Medicine Hat. 

The program provides opportunities to socialize and participate in recreational activities. Their goal is to provide education and support to people in order for them to maintain their highest level of independence in the community.

The person being referred must be a Home Care client; if not, the Day Program can facilitate a referral to Home Care. Referrals to this program can be done by Home Care, physicians, nurses, and family members.

Oyen Seniors Lodge (Acadia Foundation)

​Our Lodge units are available in single (39 rooms) and double occupancy (3 rooms) size with double size having an overall larger living space. Full meal and housekeeping services (and Home Care Services if needed) are included.

The Prairie Estates units (12 two bedroom suites) are purchased and owned by the residents and are located on a separate wing of the Lodge. 

 

Our low income Prairie Home units (8 units) are located on a separate wing of the Lodge. They provide additional living space and privacy, with a common lounge area for socializing, laundry facilities and a separate entrance.
